Kate's school pictures

Here are Kate's school pictures from Nov. 2009 at River Rd. Preschool. She is really loving school this year and has been having a great time going every morning. I think she really likes the structure of every day.

Hannah was sick on school picture day so we'll get hers in Dec.

Bruswick stew festival and a lost tooth

Yesterday was our 6th annual Brunswick stew festival. Its a family favorite in Richmond. We've been going since Hannah was 6 weeks old. Lots of yummy stew and fun music.

Also here is a before and after picture of Hannah's front tooth. It has been loose for about 3 weeks and finally fell out today while eating a cracker.

Halloween 2009

The girls had a great Halloween. And it was a halloween that almost didn't happen. We have all been so sick in this house for weeks and last week I hope was the grand finale of illness. Both Hannah and Kate had a fever up until Friday and I told them if there fever was gone for 24 hours they could go to the Halloween party and go trick or treating. So they rested and rested all day Friday and Saturday and there fever was gone (thank goodness because I don't know how I would have kept them home). We only went to the party for a little while and then hit about 10 houses at which time Hannah looked exhausted so we headed home with our loot. It was a fun time and the girls looked very cute in there "princess buttercup" dresses.
